Priya was twelve when she first told her teacher she wanted to become a doctor. It was a wish listing to fade out, living in a village where most girls her age stopped studying after tenth grade.

Her father worked as a daily-wage laborer in Mangoan; her mother fell often ill, making a school fees and a different reality entirely.

"Before the scholarship, I thought school would end after tenth grade."

Today, Priya is in her final year and has chosen her path, hoping to bring the same chance to the children of her corner.
